Batch Management by now has a gained high priority in many branches of industry.
Since January 1st, 2005 companies of food and feed industries have to act in compliance to EU Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 which defines traceability as the ability to trace and follow food, feed, and ingredients through all stages of production, processing and distribution.
